Shaun Lee is the Creative Director and one of the Show Managers of Happy’s Circus. His journey into the world of Circus began at the age of four, when he spontaneously stepped into the ring during a visiting circus performance and wowed the audience with a natural flair for performing.

At 17, Shaun joined Happy’s Circus and has since spent over two decades immersed in the art and business of Circus performance and production. His extensive experience spans across the UK and Europe, with a performance repertoire that includes diabolo and motorcycle acts.

When not working, Shaun channels his adventurous spirit by travelling the world with wife Pippa—often on their Harley-Davidson—and enjoys pursuing adrenaline-fueled activities and immersing himself in nature.

Behind the scenes, Shaun brings a wealth of knowledge in production, sound and lighting design, and operational logistics. He holds a Diploma in Theatre Studies and is responsible for overseeing the complex logistics involved in transporting and maintaining the entire Circus infrastructure. His leadership and technical expertise ensure that each show runs smoothly and leaves audiences amazed.
