Happy Circus came to St Micheal’s School Stewkley on Saturday 13th May.
It was a truly wonderful afternoon. The Circus performance was brilliant, they got both adults and children laughing and the acrobats were astounding, definitely 5 star entertainment!
Everyone from school was very impressed and left ‘Happy’. We also managed to raise a lot of much needed funds to help with the school playground makeover project. I would recommend inviting Happy Circus to your school, it’s a novel, exciting and effective fundraiser.

I want to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself, PTA and the school for the amazing evening everyone had last Friday.
The whole evening was perfect, the atmosphere was fantastic and the circus was the source of conversation the following morning in the local hairdressers (so I’m told!) From the moment I nervously booked you way back whenever, to seeing the team off site on the Saturday morning, the whole process has been wonderful. You have all been so helpful, friendly, and given great advice, especially when the circus team arrived at the school, in giving us ideas for setting out our stalls.
For a fairly small school we did really well with selling more than 80% of our tickets to family members within school. Although we still have final figures to sort out we look to have made around the £3000 mark.
We would love to book you again!!

I am writing on behalf of the Friends of Anlaby Primary who invited Happy’s Circus to visit our school on the 25th of June.
The circus team were incredible, from start to finish. From initial discussion right up to them arriving we had all the information we needed. They talked us through everything, sent over risk assessments and gave us ideas for pricing and marketing too.
When the team arrived they were friendly and professional, they were set up on the school site and to help the children get excited they invited each of the classes in to have a look around the tent and meet the crew. The kids had an amazing time and feedback from the headmaster was very positive.
For the event, we had two smaller one hour events rather than their usual 2hr event to make up for the restricted numbers.
The tent set up was great. The circus team seated everyone safely and efficiently. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The shows were unreal. Both different and both had each crowd totally amazed, engaged and howling with laughter! Thoroughly entertaining.
We’ve had so much feedback from parents and children to say it’s the best night they’ve had in a very very long time. Parents loved it just as much as the kids.
Once inside the tent it truly was like being somewhere else with the lights and sound effects.
Honestly it couldn’t have gone better. When the team left, they did so conscientiously, with no rubbish or mess left behind. They also spent some time supporting our local businesses too!
We can’t wait to get the team back, neither can the families who saw them.
Thank you so much Happy’s Circus for giving our community a truly unforgettable experience.

“Emma provided so much support and check-ins prior to the event. The pre-event call a few days before was particularly useful as we were able to run through key logistics of the day. Shaun and the circus team were also great – communication was really clear, and we enjoyed working with them. It also seemed that many members of the circus team enjoyed joining in the Summer Solstice Party too! It created such a lovely vibe and atmosphere.
Our profit for the Friends of Wray Common, including the Summer Solstice Party, was just shy of £4000! This is an excellent amount. We sold circus tickets in family bundles and individual sales. The Family Bundles proved particularly popular, as did the early bird sale.
All the performances were excellent. Good choice of music to go with them, which appealed to the children – keeping it contemporary is important in that regard! The ring mistress and Steve the Clown were also great, but probably appealed to the younger members of the audience. The audience participation with the Bluetooth speakers, the singing, and the Super Soakers was fun!
We look forward to having Happy’s Circus return to Wray Common School“

I just wanted to put in writing how brilliant the circus was and how much it was enjoyed by the whole audience. We managed to sell all 600 tickets and although the purpose of the circus was not specifically as a fundraiser but as a birthday celebration for the school. We managed to raise around £2,500 overall.

A thoroughly enjoyable interactive event for all ages across the primary school; parents and staff enjoyed too!
The pupils experienced the exciting atmosphere of the Big Top and were treated to a quality show complete with costumes, lighting and sound, from highly skilled performers and acrobats.
Safeguarding protocols and Health and Safety are held in high regard for this very professional company.
They provide schools with a host of certificates, risk assessments and relevant documentation in these areas.
There is a ‘moral’ theme running through the show which is a positive one in that we should all feel good about ourselves and respect others, treating them as we wish to be treated ourselves.
The event raised much needed funds for the school also! Happy Circus, Happy Audience!

The Circus was amazing last night and thoroughly enjoyed by all at Hawley Primary. Right from the start the booking process was easy and even though this was your third visit to us, the support calls and information were really helpful. We worked hard, launching the event with a circus skills day months before, and kept on promoting ticket sales so that we were virtually sold out.The team on the day was amazing and unbelievably organised! It all went smoothly and we ended up raising £5500 in profit from ticket sale, raffle and stallsLook forward to seeing you again in a couple of years!
