I am writing on behalf of the Friends of Anlaby Primary who invited Happy’s Circus to visit our school on the 25th of June.
The circus team were incredible, from start to finish. From initial discussion right up to them arriving we had all the information we needed. They talked us through everything, sent over risk assessments and gave us ideas for pricing and marketing too.
When the team arrived they were friendly and professional, they were set up on the school site and to help the children get excited they invited each of the classes in to have a look around the tent and meet the crew. The kids had an amazing time and feedback from the headmaster was very positive.
For the event, we had two smaller one hour events rather than their usual 2hr event to make up for the restricted numbers.

The tent set up was great. The circus team seated everyone safely and efficiently. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The shows were unreal. Both different and both had each crowd totally amazed, engaged and howling with laughter! Thoroughly entertaining.
We’ve had so much feedback from parents and children to say it’s the best night they’ve had in a very very long time. Parents loved it just as much as the kids.
Once inside the tent it truly was like being somewhere else with the lights and sound effects.
Honestly it couldn’t have gone better. When the team left, they did so conscientiously, with no rubbish or mess left behind. They also spent some time supporting our local businesses too!
We can’t wait to get the team back, neither can the families who saw them.

The Circus show was absolutely amazing – the right balance of acts and comedy. So much crammed into the performances – Ross and Pip were very funny and got funnier during the show. Our kids absolutely loved it!!

“Working with Happy’s Circus has been an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. The whole team, led by Shaun and Pippa, were professional, efficient, and a joy to have on site — everything ran like clockwork. Emma in the office was outstanding; her clear guidance and encouragement meant we always felt supported and never overwhelmed.
What really sets Happy’s Circus apart is how thorough and thoughtful the process is. The pre-event communications gave us a clear roadmap, with reminders, tips, and practical fundraising ideas that made it easy to stay organised. Importantly, it was also a huge financial success for our PTA, giving us the resources to invest back into the school. Yet it never felt like just a fundraiser — it felt like a true celebration that brought everyone together.
We cannot recommend Happy’s Circus highly enough. They combine professionalism and organisation with warmth and fun, and they delivered an unforgettable event that our community will be talking about for years to come.”

On 17 August, we were pleased to welcome back for the second time, Happy’s Circus. The setup was seamless, exactly as was planned, and the Big Top and its surroundings looked very attractive.
Our families that attended had a wonderful time and there were smiles all around as they left. It is hard to say what the highlights were because there were so many with something for everyone from the very funny routines to the incredible aerial work.
The timing was perfect not too long and value for money. The Circus left this morning and amazingly, the school field today looks like no one has been there!

What a wonderful way to start our school year!
Our PTA, in collaboration with Happy’s Circus, organised a spectacular circus show for the children and their families to enjoy. From our initial contact with Happy’s Circus all the way through to the Big Top being dismantled in our school field, I cannot fault the organisation and professionalism of this fantastic company; I would highly recommend them without any reservation to anyone looking to provide an exciting event within their school grounds.

“Emma provided so much support and check-ins prior to the event. The pre-event call a few days before was particularly useful as we were able to run through key logistics of the day. Shaun and the circus team were also great – communication was really clear, and we enjoyed working with them. It also seemed that many members of the circus team enjoyed joining in the Summer Solstice Party too! It created such a lovely vibe and atmosphere.
Our profit for the Friends of Wray Common, including the Summer Solstice Party, was just shy of £4000! This is an excellent amount. We sold circus tickets in family bundles and individual sales. The Family Bundles proved particularly popular, as did the early bird sale.
All the performances were excellent. Good choice of music to go with them, which appealed to the children – keeping it contemporary is important in that regard! The ring mistress and Steve the Clown were also great, but probably appealed to the younger members of the audience. The audience participation with the Bluetooth speakers, the singing, and the Super Soakers was fun!

I just wanted to put in writing how brilliant the circus was and how much it was enjoyed by the whole audience. We managed to sell all 600 tickets and although the purpose of the circus was not specifically as a fundraiser but as a birthday celebration for the school. We managed to raise around £2,500 overall.
